Our Team

With over 30 years of experience, Patricia, or Tricia, as she is known by friends and family, began her career as a financial advisor after graduating from St. Bonaventure University. Right away Tricia began work on obtaining two professional designations from the American College, one pertaining to insurance and the other to financial planning. Tricia holds the titles of Certified Life Underwriter and Charted Financial Consultant.

 Not long after achieving the CLU and ChFC, she earned a Series 24 General Securities Principal registration held through LPL Finalcial and has since served as Upstate Professional Planning Services Principal, performing supervisory and compliance duties. Tricia is also a past president of the Rochester Chapter Society for Financial Services Professionals. Her practice is comprised of an eclectic group of individuals and businesses, whom she considers friends as well as clients.

 Tricia's ultimate goal is to provide her clients with the most beneficial and constructive approach to planning for the future as well as the present. She will provide coherent answers to all financial questions. Tricia believes that in order to have the most profitable outcomes and adequate solutions, clients and advisors must create a trusting and positive relationship.

 Tricia resides in Pittsford and has successfully raised a daughter who is living and working in New York City.

Suzanne is a Financial Advisor who started at Upstate Professional Planning in 1990 after graduating from The State University of New York at Albany with distinction. With over 35 years of experience, Suzanne’s primary focus is on ensuring that her clients have a comprehensive understanding of and trust in the financial plans that are implemented on their behalf. She is committed to the continual education of her clients and to providing them with comprehensive strategies to invest, preserve, and utilize their wealth.

Among various other accomplishments, Suzanne is a past Publications Chair for the Junior League of Rochester, past President of Midvale Country Club Women's Association, and 3-time chairperson of the Flavors of Rochester, benefiting the Western New York Chapter of the American Liver Foundation. In 2016, she co-chaired McQuaid Jesuit High School's annual fundraiser, BASH, and was recognized as their Volunteer of the Year in 2018. 

Suzanne lives in the North Winton Village of Rochester with her husband, Mark, and spends her summers on Canandaigua Lake. She loves to entertain, as well as ski, golf, and travel with her family – comprised of her two sons and her stepdaughter and son-in-law, who have graced her with two amazing grandchildren.

Brody is Suzanne’s eldest son and our office’s Operations Manager, helping modernize our processes and technology to better serve our clients. After graduating from Arizona State University with a BS in Chemical Engineering, Brody worked as a Lab Engineer in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he created test methods and procedures for medical devices. Brody started with Upstate Professional Planning at the start of 2024 and has since earned his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses through LPL Financial, as well as his New York State Life Broker license. He looks forward to a future career as a Financial Advisor, where he can put his people-first focus to work in helping clients build strong financial legacies.

Brody and his fiancée, Jenna, live in Fairport and share a love of music – a cornerstone of their relationship that started at a concert! They love sharing meals with friends and family and spending time outdoors, whether that’s hiking, skiing, camping, golfing, boating, or just laying out in the [sun (for Jenna)/shade (for Brody)] with a book. Brody is also an avid sports fan, who supports the Bills, Sun Devils, Sabres, Suns, and Diamondbacks, in that order.
